We are not a Manhattan newsroom. We live here. We know the city truck will not wait twenty seconds while you drag the trash can to the curb at 7 a.m. Tuesday — half dressed, half awake, and suddenly capable of Olympic speed.
That is why this site exists. The lettered map is confusing on purpose. Canal lots may or may not reach the Intracoastal. Insurance is a second conversation. We wrote the pages we wanted before we signed.
